What Clipfront is

Clipfront is a browser-based tool that lets you crop, frame, and export your own gameplay video into vertical, short-form video files. All video processing happens locally in your browser — Clipfront does not receive, store, or view the video files you process.

Your content, your responsibility

You retain all rights to the video footage you process with Clipfront. You're solely responsible for making sure you have the necessary rights and permissions to use, edit, and publish that footage — including, where relevant, complying with the terms of the game publisher whose content appears in your footage. Because Clipfront never receives your video, we have no ability to review, moderate, or remove content you create with it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe anyone else's rights
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer or circumvent any part of the Service beyond what applicable law permits
• Abuse, defraud, or interfere with any advertising or payment systems used by the Service

Payments and subscriptions

If Clipfront offers paid subscriptions, billing is processed by Stripe under the pricing and terms shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the billing period already paid for.

If you're purchasing as a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK: digital content and services are typically eligible for a statutory right of withdrawal. By completing a purchase, you request that Clipfront begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed (or once you've started using it, where applicable law allows this waiver). Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable.

Advertising

Clipfront may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Ads shown on the Service are provided by third parties and are governed additionally by their own terms — see our Privacy Policy for details.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clipfront and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so wouldn't be permitted by applicable law (for example, certain consumer protection rights that can't be waived).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Clipfront and its operator harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue your access to the Service, in whole or part, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service generally. Since Clipfront doesn't hold accounts or your content, termination has no effect on files already exported to your device.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Clipfront changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This doesn't deprive you of any consumer protections you're entitled to under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
